I am a life-long educator who has served as a public high school teacher, religious educator, and a college professor in the fields of religion, philosophy, and education at universities in California and Wisconsin.

Served as an Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Curriculum and Instruction. In this graduate position I helped transform current k-12 teachers into master teachers as they completed their master's degree.

Focus of work was on ethical issues surrounding war and peace, legal ethics, and church and state issues. Dissertation developed an ethic of nonproliferation by drawing from pacifist, feminist and liberationist theological and ethical voices.

Academic emphasis was in the field of Christian Ethics. Master's Thesis explored the implications of Latin American liberation theology for the ethical evaluation of the use of violence and nonviolence in social change.
